Roger Waters on stage performing solo

George Roger Waters, more commonly known as Roger Waters, was born September 6, 1943 in Surrey, England. Truly a multi-talented artist, Roger Waters has dabbled in progressive rock, psychedelic rock, art rock and opera. While several Roger Waters Songs stand alone, much of Roger Waters fame came from his work in Pink Floyd.

Roger Waters got his start in music in the 1960s as a member of Pink Floyd. After original Pink Floyd front man Syd Barrett left the band, Roger Waters stepped up to help lead the band in new directions and ultimately to global prominence in the 1970's. Roger Waters wrote some of the most iconic Pink Floyd music including much of "The Dark Side of the Moon" and "The Wall". However, creative differences caused Roger Waters to leave Pink Floyd.

Since his depature from Pink Floyd Roger Waters' solo career has been abundant and popular, many of his newer fans were unaware of the artists storied past. The last Roger Waters album that was released was Ca Ira a operatic feeling album that featured Roger Waters as a creative mind and not just a guitarist. The Roger Waters Tour will feature Roger Waters music from his entire career and is one of the most anticipated of the year, buy your Roger Waters Concert Tickets today!
