Celtic Woman

Celtic Woman will play at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Friday, November 16 at 8:00pm.

This international Irish music sensation is a smash hit around the globe. The 19-member Celtic group spotlights four sopranos and one fiddle player.  Their angelic voices receive rave reviews and the group has an incredible knack for belting out classical melodies as well as up beat folksier numbers.

This tour marks the fifth Celtic Woman U.S. tour since the 2005 debut. The tour will feature selections from their first album, A Christmas Celebration, as well as material from their most recent work, A New Journey.  The Celtic Woman group has been seen by millions thanks to their aggressive touring schedule and PBS specials including the latest special, "CELTIC WOMAN-- A NEW JOURNEY." They also have a DVD out called Live at Slane Castle, Ireland and have recently celebrated the platinum certification of their self-titled debut album.

Music fans won't want to miss the sweet sounds of Celtic Woman in St Paul. They are putting on one performance only with a half house reserved floor set-up.  The first 15 rows on the Xcel Energy Center floor will offer the best view of the performance. This classical show will be sure to amaze even the pickiest of Twin Cities music critics and although not entirely holiday themed, the show will also be a great kick-off to the St Paul holiday season.
