Rascal Flatts
Hit country group Rascal Flatts will once again be performing in the Twin Cities. Xcel Energy Center has announced that Rascal Flatts with special guest Jason Aldean is coming to Xcel Energy Center on Saturday, October 27th at 8 pm. The fall performance will mark the third time Rascal Flatts has played Xcel Energy Center, having previously performed February 2, 2002 and November 20, 2004.
Rascal Flatts will be touting their fifth album, "Still Feels Good," to be released on September 25th. In addition to selling more than four million copies of their most recent effort "Me and My Gang," the band was named Academy of Country Music (ACM) Vocal Group of the Year for the sixth straight year and claimed its fourth Country Music Association (CMA) Vocal Group of the Year award.
Opening for Rascal Flatts is rising country star Jason Aldean. His second album, "Relentless," soared to No. 1 on Billboard Country Albums chart. The 2006 ACM Top New Male Vocalist recently had his fourth consecutive single, "Johnny Cash," reach the Top 10. His first album made quite a splash as well with hit singles "Why," "Amarillo Sky" and rockin hillbilly tune "Hicktown." Aldean puts on a high energy show and will be able warm up the Xcel Energy Center for uber popular Rascall Flatts.
