Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Trans-Siberian Orchestra is set to perform at the Xcel Energy Center live on December 27, 2010 at 7:30 P.M.  The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is an orchestra founded in 1996 by Paul O'Neill, who brought together long-time friends Jon Oliva, Robert Kinkel, and Al Pitrelli.  They have a symphonic metal, progressive metal, and neoclassical metal sound to their music.

As of 2009, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra included 8-10 vocalists, 7-8 musicians, and a narrator for each performance. At each performance, local musicians provide an additional string section as well.  They have released 5 albums, with their latest album released in 2009 titled "Night Castle."  Over the years, the Trans Siberian Orchestra has been mainly focused on a rock style Christmas act. The Trans Siberian Orchestra also features a full light show and pyrotechnics, which takes 15 hours to set up.

The Christmas Eve and Other Stories album was originally debuted in 1996, and continues to be the best-selling album for the Trans Siberian Orchestra. The Christmas Attic album was released two years later which includes their most well-known songs, Christmas Canon. The Lost Christmas Eve and The Christmas Trilogy albums were added later, after touring for a few years, to their repertoire of albums.  Don't delay and miss your opportunity to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra live at the Xcel Enery Center!  Purchase your Trans-Siberian Orchestra tickets today!
