Time: 08:00 PM

Roger Waters will be live at the Xcel Energy Center on Saturday, June 30th at 8 p.m. Waters is best known as the co-founder and creative force of the rock bank Pink Floyd. Waters began touring in 2006 after taking an almost 30 year break from the mega concert scene. Waters is appropriately calling his concert "The Dark Side Of  The Moon" since he plays the album in it's entirety during the show.  The album was originally released in 1973 by Pink Floyd, but Waters wrote all of the lyrics for the original album and most of the music. In fact, Roger Waters was the sole author of the album's Top Ten hit, "Money." The soulful soundtracks are well known for their great blend of progressive music and philosophical themes.

"The Dark Side Of The Moon" album reached an unparalleled level of success for Pink Floyd becoming one of the world's top-selling albums of all time with global sales totaling more than 34 million copies. The album remained in the Billboard Top 200 best-selling albums chart for a record-breaking 15 years and, as recently as 2003, occupied the #1 spot on the Billboard Pop Catalog chart. In 2004, the album was still selling more than 8,000 copies a week. It has been estimated that 1 in every 14 Americans under the age of 50 owns a copy of "The Dark Side Of The Moon."

Roger Waters show will be a full evening's worth of music comprised of two sets plus encores at the Xcel Energy Center. Waters will bring with him state of the art staging, lighting and sound. Set one is rumored to be various Pink Floyd material from "The Wall," "Wish You Were Here," and "The Final Cut." Set two will be Roger Waters and the full band performing "The Dark Side Of The Moon" in it's entirety. The Roger Waters band features Andy Fairweather on guitar and vocals, Snowy White playing guitar, Dave Kilminster on guitar and vocals, Jon Carin playing the keyboards, Graham Broad banging on the drums, Harry Waters playing the Hammond organ and Ian Ritchie on saxophone. The Roger Waters concert will be heaven to music lovers ears as Waters has rigged up a state-of-the-art 360° quadraphonic sound system immersing the audience in a 3-dimensional hyperworld.
