Xcel Energy Center

The Xcel Energy Center is located in the heart of downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota. The Xcel Energy Center St Paul was built in 2000, constructed on the site of the demolished St. Paul Civic Center. This arena is both a multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility.

The ‘X' has 4 spectator levels; 1 reserved suite level and 3 general seating levels called the 100 level, club level and the 200 level.  The Xcel Energy Center is connected to the Rivercentre Convention center as well as the Roy Wilkens Arena. There are two restaurants in the Xcel Energy Center, Headwaters Bar and Restaurant and the Iron Range. Headwaters is exclusive dining on the club level for patrons with a club level, suite level, or on the glass ticket. The Iron Range is a hockey themed sports bar located on the 100 level. There are various concession stands on 3 general seating levels and catering available for the suites.

The Xcel Energy Center is home to the NHL Minnesota Wild. Wild fans, aka ‘the team of 18,000,' are extremely loyal to the Wild making Minnesota the Great State of Hockey.
